Southwest Eyecare is a full service eye care practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico offering a complete range of medical, surgical and refractive services.
Our ophthalmologists provide medical and surgical care for cataracts, glaucoma and retinal disorders as well as treatment for diabetic eye disease and conditions requiring oculoplastic procedures. We offer vision correction procedures such as LASIK, PRK (Photorefractive Keratoctomy), and Clear Lens Replacement in addition to on-site optical services and routine eye exams.

Founded by Dr. John Teahan in 1997, Southwest Eyecare’s physician team includes Dr. Peter Beaudette, Dr. Paul Sanchez, Dr. Stephen Saxe, Dr. Arlene Bagga and Dr. Randy Black specializing in ocuplastic surgery.
Dr. Bagga, who is the newest addition to the Southwest Eyecare physician team, is a Board Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with a special interest in Cataract Surgery. She comes to Southwest Eyecare from the University of New Mexico, where she was an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and a key faculty member in the surgical training of senior ophthalmology residents.
